Abstract

This article examines the role of chemical experiment in secondary schools. Students can distinguish and draw conclusions based on comparative data on the composition and properties of the substance. In high school, four types of experience are used in chemical testing, each of which has its own methodological approach and purpose: demonstration experiments, laboratory experiments, experimental exercises, mixed-type experiments. Experimental exercises, workshops, etc. are considered in part of the experiment. When studying chemistry, it is very important to consolidate the theoretical knowledge of students in relation to laboratory and practical work. This is due to the fact that the theoretical knowledge of the student is preserved only with the help of laboratory experiments, which serve to understand what substances are formed when one substance is combined with another and the chemical significance of the observed phenomenon. Practice is also effective in revealing the basis and content of the theory. Also, schoolchildren are very interested in chemistry-interesting, magical experiments. Experiments are used as a method of testing students' knowledge, attention and skills. It also develops the observational, searching abilities of students, learns to acquire knowledge independently, improve them, and apply the knowledge gained in practice. Experiments are used in Chemistry lessons, in practical exercises as a means of proof and verification.

Keywords: experiment, types of chemical experiment, virtual chemical experiment, the main role of chemical experiment, experimental problems.
