Improving the creative thinking of students using the method of “design thinking”

Abstract.

Changes in science and education require a new approach to the learning process. Introducing new educational innovations into the teaching process requires a lot of research from the teacher. The selective use of rational methods that contribute to improving the quality of student learning also depends on the experience and creativity of the teacher. In recent years, one of the most effective ways to influence the development of students' independent thinking has been the search – design thinking. The main purpose of the method of "design-thinking" - to identify problems in society through the use of innovative and creative approaches and to teach them to use the discovered innovations, offering them the path to real life. It has been proven that the introduction of this method in the field of education and science helps students to be active and think positively, learn to critically evaluate the problem, strengthen their creative skills. The article discusses the history of the design-thinking method, its peculiarities and methods of application. It tells about the stages of the design-thinking method. It is said that this method contributes to the development of the student's abilities.
