The importance of professional competence in the development of an educational program

Abstract.

One of the important problems in the development of an educational program is professional competence. In turn, it deepens the content of education and influences the training of the relevant specialist. Today, the preparation of the content of education that meets international requirements, the promotion of its assimilation by students, the formation and assessment of professional competencies are the main requirements of the world educational and scientific sphere. This issue is still being comprehensively considered in many countries. However, it is necessary to study each educational program separately. Therefore, the article is based on the competencies that will be fixed in the training of specialists in the field of journalism and media. In particular, within the framework of the educational program "Publishing", professional and qualitative competencies are analyzed in the study of audiovisual means and media production. In the study, based on the scientific works of scientists from Europe and Russia, the problem of professional and qualitative competence is raised, the scientific foundations of its formation are differentiated. The professional competencies of the educational program "Publishing" are reflected on the example of the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and formulated in accordance with the results of the study. This article can be used in the process of evaluating the quality of training of industry specialists and improving the development of educational programs.
